Lisa Welge Photography is now The Goodness!

I’m so excited to finally share the images from our portrait session with Greg and Melinda in Paris. Greg and Melinda are living with their twin girls in Italy where Greg is serving in the US Air Force. The two were in Paris on holiday for New Year’s so we all met up for some portraits of the happy couple. We decided to have their session around the most romantic landmark in the world, the Eiffel Tower!

We had so much fun chasing around Paris with Greg and Melinda. We saw Notre Dame together and they helped us with figuring out the Metro as it was our first full day in the City of Lights. Thank you two for being such great company and we hope see you again soon! (Perhaps in Italy next time???)

Well folks, we are back stateside now and had an AMAZING time in Paris! Geoff and I certainly do miss it already and have visions of delicious French cuisine that dance around in our heads on a daily basis…sigh… One of the highlights of our trip was doing a portrait session with Greg and Melinda near La Tour Eiffel. We have more images from this fun day coming up, along with a post of some of our favorite photos from the trip.

I am so excited to share these photos of the cutness that is Miss Kayla. I have known Kayla just about FOREVER! Kayla, her sister and my sisters were all best buds growing up because we lived just across the street from each other. Plenty of good times doing sidewalk chalk drawings, having water wars, making up clubs based on Sanrio characters, choreographing dances to the Babysitters Club song, starring in low budget murder-mysteries, you know… Anywhoo, Kayla is graduating from Sac State this semester so we celebrated by rocking out some awesome portraits of this beautiful girl. We started off in some of my favorite alleys in Downtown Sac.

Isn’t her dress adorable!? It’s actually her Mom’s from when she was younger. Isn’t that priceless?

Then it was time to get the gown on and ham it up graduate style!

This one that Geoff took is my FAVORITE! Kayla you are just too cute.

Since Kayla’s mom tagged along to the shoot, we couldn’t resist snapping a few under this sign. They are Italian after all!

We had a blast! Thanks Kayla and Cynthia for letting us capture this exciting time in Kayla’s life (and enduring the bitter cold!) Congratulations on making it through Kayla!

Seriously, this is one adorable family! We met up with John and Francie and their two girls Katie and Cara at the beautiful Capitol Park for some family portraits.

Oh my goodness…get a load of the cuteness that is Cara! I love her curly blonde hair and beautiful baby blue eyes! She was just a bundle of giggly energy too!

And, hello?! Isn’t Katie a such beautiful young woman!? I am totally envious of her hair…I wish mine had that much volume and va-va-voom!

What a pleasure it was to photography Jon and Estella and brand-new baby Benjamin! Benjamin is just 3 months old and one cute little guy! Geoff and I had fun spending some time with the Penney’s and capturing them as a new little family.

Baby expressions just crack me up! The little bit of drool is the icing on the cake!

After some time in the great outdoors, we took baby Benjamin inside to our mini-studio for some photos in his christening outfit.

Choosing a florist for our wedding was an easy decision once we met Brandi Richards of Party Petals. Not only did she do an amazing job for our big day but she just so happens to have a big family full of wonderful people! When she told us she was interested in family portraits, Geoff and I were happy to oblige! We had a ton of fun hanging out with all 14 of them at Southside Park in Sacramento. Each family had their own personality and we had a great time getting to know all of them.
