Wowee…our last wedding of 2009 was simply AMAZING! We had the great pleasure of photographing Lance and Kimnan’s Cambodian wedding. From the colorful wardrobe changes to the cultural ceremonies to the loving family, it was such a wonderful experience Geoff and I will never forget. I can’t wait to share more!

Preston and Trudee are one super sweet couple! They are so incredibly in love, it’s totally inspiring. Thanks for being so great you two! We are so happy to have been a part of their wedding day. We began the day with portraits up at the Sacramento LDS Temple, where Preston and Trudee tied the knot that morning.

I took some photos of the beautiful bride Trudee. Isn’t she just lovely?

While Trudee and I were off taking portraits, Geoff was with the handsome young groom, Preston, making some photos of their own.

Check out the flowers — Trudee did all of them herself! I just love a crafty bride. They turned out great, really going along with the autumn theme of their wedding.

Right next to the Temple is a beautiful park with old oak trees galore. There were also turkeys running around ALL over the place! Too bad we couldn’t get them to pose for a photo! No matter, Preston and Trudee were awesome enough on their own!

After the temple we headed over to the reception. There were cute little autumn elements everywhere. They did a great job transforming the room!

Preston and Trudee even had us design them a guestbook.

I was so surprised and delighted to learn what great dancers Preston and his guys are! They performed an amazing routine!

After that, the crazy dance moves just wouldn’t quit! This was a wedding with one of the best displays of bustin’-a-move yet! What a fun and animated group of people!

Preston and Trudee, we had so much fun at your wedding — thank you for choosing us to be a part of it! We hope you both had an awesome time in New York and we know you will have many, many years of happiness together!! Congratulations!

How fun was this engagement session!? Jeff and Nichole met at the Wrangler in Wilton, a small town south of Sacramento, where things are just a bit more country, so of course that was the perfect place to kick off the afternoon. I love the whole feel of the photos that came out of the session and of course, Jeff and Nichole are super sweet and cute with each other.

Awww…love at the bar…

I love how Nichole’s beautiful ring was sparkling in the sunlight!

After we left the bar we just kept finding so much cool stuff to use as backgrounds, like the hay and feed store across the street, not to mention the awesome giant buffalo statue or the “tractor graveyard”.

I’m lovin the color and their cute faces at each other in this one!

Special request boot shot!

Awwww isn’t that cu…wait a minute….

So stinkin’ adorable!

Seriously, it was hard to STOP taking photos of these two! Take a look at their gallery for all 115(!) amazingly amazing photos inspired by the love of Jeff and Nichole. We are so excited that their wedding will be the first one of our 2010 year! Hope you two are ready, February 27th is just around the corner!
