Adam and Tuesday’s hip-hop music lovin’ wedding

We feel so lucky to have been a part of this amazing and unique celebration. Teresa met Adam at Capitol Garage where he was emceeing, so music has been such a huge part of their relationship. So, of course, it was a big part of their wedding as well! Geoff and I both loved all the personal touches throughout the day and all the love that was everywhere. I had so much fun with Teresa, aka Tuesday, and her bridesmaids as they got ready for the big day.

Geoff met up with Adam and the boys at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, where the were prepping for the day. All the guys started getting ready only once the music was on.

The guys even had a quick opportunity to steal away for a bit for some b-ball, something they do together on a regular basis. They’d even played a game before getting ready that morning!

I’m sooooooo happy Adam and Teresa decided to do a first look. I love, love, love it when couples want to see each other for the first time this way — We get to capture all the emotion!

Then it was ceremony time! Adam and Tuesday had such a wonderful, personal ceremony. It started off with some soulful dancing down the aisle. My favorite part was when they had all of their important family members give them advice for a successful marriage and happy life.

The reception was held at the Sacramento State Alumni Center. The couple’s amazing wedding cakes were made by Tuesday’s cousin and bridesmaid Meb of Meb Delights. Seriously, if you are looking for a custom cake check out her website! How cool is the cookie cake and the turntable?!

Congratulations Adam and Tuesday! Thank you so, so much for choosing us to be the ones to capture your wedding day. It was such a wonderful celebration. It’s so easy to see that you two are perfect for each other and we wish you many, many years of happiness and music together!
