Kyle and Laura had an AMAZING wedding on Independence Day this year. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the birth of our country than marrying the one you love. I hope you all enjoy this teaser photo because there are plenty more where that came from!

Congratulations to Andy and Sara who married in Stockton, CA. We were lucky enough to photograph their special day. We started out by taking some portraits at the University of the Pacific. The campus is such a beautiful place with old brick buildings and ivy climbing the walls.

After spending some time at UOP, we headed to the cute little Stockton Covenant Church for the ceremony.

Then it was off to their grandparent’s backyard for an intimate reception. The yard was decorated with little handmade touches and beautiful red gerbera daisies everywhere.

It was a warm SUNNY day so athough there were umbrellas up all around, some guests found “creative” ways to stay out of the sun.

Best wishes on your marriage Andy and Sara! We had a great time hanging out with your loved ones and capturing this important day in your lives.

I am so excited to finally share Allan and Lacey’s wedding photos. They married in the small town where they live, Herald, CA. Geoff and I had such a blast hanging out with their friends and family all day. We started out getting ready at Allan and Lacey’s home.

Doesn’t Lacey look just lovely? She had on the most amazing vintage inspired dress.

We had their First Look on their front porch. I really love when a couple chooses to see each other for the first time this way. Not only is it much more intimate, but the photographer gets to be up close and capture all the emotion!

After photo time, we were off to the Herald Barn, which Allan, Lacey, and their friends and family completely transformed into a beautiful setting for their ceremony and reception. I loved the chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. The lighting was done by LB Productions and they did an awesome job!

Even when a couple chooses to do a First Look session, in no way does it take away from the emotion of seeing that walk down the aisle. I love the look of the groom when he sees his bride coming to meet him. It gets me every time!

They had the cutest, most personal vows ever. Lots of tears and laughter. I believe one of the promises Allan made to Lacey was to watch reality TV with her, even if a new episode of The Office is on. That’s love right there!

Allan loved the Apple logo cufflinks Lacey gave him. (We share a love for Apple products, that is for sure!)

Cupcake time! Cupcake Craving of Sacramento supplied the cute (and delicious!) cupcakes.

After Allan and Lacey shared their first dance as wife and hubby, it was party time! I have so much fun photographing the dancing. It’s great watching everybody cut loose!

Muchos muchos congratulations Allan and Lacey! Your wedding had so much heart and many personal touches, thank you for choosing us to capture the beginning of the rest of your lives together! Many years of love and happiness to you both.

JC and Leslie are a super cute couple! Their engagement session at Folsom Lake was fabulous! They brought their new puppy Penny along and I think she had a blast too. If you know me at all, you’d know that I am a sucker for puppies (and pretty much ALL animals). It was so cute to see their little family forming already.

We found an old oar near the lake which pretty much begged us to do the obligatory “American Gothic” pose.

We also found an old beach ball floating around with which we had some fun.

I love a couple who is willing to lie down in the middle of the road for me.

All evening JC wanted a photo with his hat…to show of the REAL JC. Well, JC we got a pic with the hat! Seriously, this couple is awesome.

JC and Leslie you guys rock! Your wedding will be amazing and we are so excited we get to capture it for you!
