Laura and Kyle…oh my my. You two are unbelievably amazing! These couple of cuties live in Washington and are getting married on Independence Day in Sacramento. Geoff and I hadn’t met them before their engagement session, but we couldn’t be happier about being able to share in thier love story. Let me tell you, their engagement session ROCKED! Even though we had to meet at 8:30 in the morning because Kyle had to catch a plane that evening, these two were drop-dead gorgeous and ready to go. We had such a great time hanging out at the state capitol and walking around downtown.

After some photos in Capitol park in their casual clothes, they both changed into something a little more formal (read: HOT) to capture some urban shots.

Geoff post today! Geoff is sharing his experience photographing last night’s thunderstorm:
Last night an amazing thunder and lightning storm rolled through most of California. Here in Sacramento we were getting hit extremely hard. The news was saying in the upwards of 1500 strikes in an hour at the peak of the storm. I took this opportunity to seek out a great view for all of this action. Lisa was off to sleep to prepare for her busy day today while I was perched 10 stories up in our Downtown Sacramento. It was such an amazing sight. We just wanted to share a couple of amazing pictures. Hope everyone here in Sacramento were able to get sleep last night, that thunder started to get wake-you-up-and-scare-the-crap-out-of-you loud.
