John and Carlie Engagement Session
May 25, 2009John and Carlie are two (or in Carlie’s case, very, very soon to be) UC Davis alumns who met when they were put into the same physics group in high school. So fittingly enough, we shot their engagement photos at the UC Davis campus.
It was H-O-T that day but John and Carlie were troopers. We started out in the Arboretum under the protection of the trees.
John and Carlie are so cute. They fly back and forth between Davis and Irvine to see each other, proving that long distance relationships can work out!
If you’ve ever been to Davis you know about the bikes. It is one of the most bicycle friendly places anywhere. This photo is our homage to Davis.
Carlie says the only thing she likes about physics is meeting John, but when we saw this sign we just had to pay a little tribute to how they met!
Congratulations on your engagement John and Carlie! We had a blast with you and cannot wait for your wedding!

These are amazing! John and I are so happy with the pictures, and couldn’t stop smiling as we looked through them =) I think I have to look at them at least once a day!
We had a great time with you guys, and can’t wait to see the guestbook and take the wedding pictures!
